Our Beers
Blank Slate's motto is "Our minds may be empty...our beer is not". Beer styles will not be limited to the "standard German styles" that have become ubiquitous in southern Ohio. Blank Slate intends to produce beer styles from all over the world that are not as common in this area as well as create modernized interpretations of other classical styles. Barrel aging and the use of "wild" yeast strains will be incorporated from time to time as well as the incorporation of ingredients designed for food pairings.
Not all beers will utilize "extreme" ingredients, generally only one offering per season. Regardless of style Blank Slate beers will always be hand crafted using only the highest quality, freshest ingredients. Our offerings are formulated to fit the season in which they are produced. Lighter, more refreshing beers in the Spring and Summer. Darker, more sustaining beers in the Autumn and Winter.
